Another day, another hat for Benjamin.

Congratulations Peter and Meredith!

We had another marvelous potluck, giving our married baptist counterparts a run for their money, as usual.

In previous years, we organize a white elephant exchange. It has always been fun, but takes a long time with a group our size, and new folks always have a hard time limiting gifts to completely useless junk around the house. This year, creativity was still the theme in our new activity, gingerbread house making!

Some groups went with a more modest home model, focusing more on the decoration and theme side.
Our team went for square footage baby. While my participation in this luxurious home construction was minimal, I am still partially responsible for what you see. A great decision last spring don't feel so good this winter. It was a messy job, but Bjorn handled it with minimal embarrassment. No, I'm not staring at anything...

Here are our finished products.

Team flattop (that's us) took home the highest honor. At least that's what they tell me. With all the honorable mentions I've earned in grade school, the fame and attention which came with this one did not get to my head.
AUGH!! Gotta go. More pictures later. Settlers with extremely non-competitive hoodies...a rare opportunity I must not pass up.
Back. And for the bazillionth time, the person who hoards cards, solicits and accepts only premium trades publicly gets harassed, loses by one turn and finds that alot of hard work was wasted. Just enjoying a game...who woulda thought it was so hard to choose.
Ok so we may have gone down hill from there. Becky and others fascinated all of us with their weird physical anomalies. Michael will regain full use of his hand within the week.

Who's socks are classier?
Yaaaa, class doesn't really play into this does it?

Becky cleaned up the rest of the house decorations nicely, and hasn't slept in 50 straight hours.
