Our church holds a little fair type dealy every year to publicize each of the ministries the church offers for folks to participate in or be ministered by. I hung around the man corner (behind me).
EE Luncheon
The ministry with the big ole prayer station banner is the church's evangelism ministry, primarily composed of Evangelism Explosion (EE) material and training. After church, I had the opportunity to welcome the folks who were interested in getting involved by running the information luncheon.
Jasmine and Amber were a great help. Thank you ladies. We had over 20 people show up to the luncheon.
While setting up for the luncheon, I noticed that Pastor Chris's chess game (played against remote challengers at times) had been messed up a tad.
So I messed it up thoroughly.
Peoria's major college campus is Bradley University. Every year, Bradley allows a local ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ, to run a water balloon fight to kick off the first week of classes. Cru provides an abundance of filled water balloons every year, so my Sunday school class offered to help out with the filling of said balloons. We were given a couple thousand to fill, with permission for a certain number of them to be wasted "on accident".
Every faucet needed to be utilized in order to finish at a decent time, even the bathrooms. Nick made himself comfortable.
But certain rules must never be broken. Ladies!!
They tried, but I don't think we "accidentally" broke the 10% we were allowed.
