Be Still My Soul

I can't listen to this music without posting about it.

Berean book store had a deal as of a few days ago where you can buy a special bundle of two Selah albums for $10 each. I found a bundle for two of their albums, and then another for two more albums. In total, I purchased Hiding Place, Press On, Be Still My Soul, and Bless The Broken Road for $20. There are still a few more out there I'd like to get.
I've listened to all these songs at various places and trips, but haven't had a copy of them until now. These truths in song (both old and new) are such an encouragement and God glorifying distraction when you need it. I have a habit of listening to the same album over and over again anyway, so listening to the same 48 songs over and over again for a month will be nothing new...and ain't nuthin' wrong with that!

Be still, my soul; the Lord is on your side
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain
Leave to your God to order and provide
In every change he faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; your best, your heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul; your God will undertake
To guide the future as he has the past.
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul; the waves and wind still know
His voice who ruled them while he dwelt below.

Be still, my soul; though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears
Then you will better know his love, his heart
Who comes to soothe your sorrows and your fears.
Be still, my soul; your Jesus can repay
From his own fullness all he takes away.
