Hear It From Someone Else (for once)

I had a couple things on the agenda tonight, but for the most part, lets hear about someone else. Here are a couple of blog highlights from people more interesting than I.

Marc's recent driving frustration.
Well said, as usual. Marc is a great guy and old friend from the church in which I grew up (physically grew up...)

(Sigh) Not fair.
The #1 reason why I wish I could be a stay at home parent (Mr. Mom), coupled with the #1 reason why I wouldn't make it as a stay at home parent. Jennifer (the mom here) is an ex co-worker who got bit by the blog bug after reading mine for a couple of months.

I recently posted about how cool of an example Bill Cosby can be on his old show as a Dad with a good attitude. But I'm sure after a few finger paint incidents like these, I would lose it, or give up on the cleaning.

It's time to fess up. The reason those blog examples are so old is because I'm still trying to catch up on my blog reading after the New York trip. I came back to over 120 blog posts to read. There were only 20 the week before I left. People got busy at a very inconvenient time for me! Thank goodness for Google Reader (below). It is very useful for keeping track of what you've read, and getting nearly immediate notice of new posts. Unfortunately, it's easy to never actually visit the person's blog site, and so commenting has taken less priority. Sorry guys!

Sorry to those of you who recognize your blog as being ignored!

Tonight was almost the restart of regular Wednesday night activities at church. We pulled the plug on men's Bible study tonight (Ryan, you're dead to me). Instead, Dinner at church. Josh spent the evening working in the nursery, and I just caught up with a friend. And everyone else...SSSSSLACKERS!! :-)

Meredith (and side-kick Peter) took on most of the kitchen duties this week. Excellent meal Meredith!

Dan the Man and I have begun the slow process of moving on after Andrew left us. We got in the habit of taking tea and walk breaks throughout the day. It adds up to about 30 minutes per day of walk time outside the building, which is a must when you love your job as much as I...

Storm has not yet been able to cut the chord and remove Andrew from his internal messaging system contact list. I, had no problem with it...DELETED!
