Out of Control!

Finally, a day where I didn't spend every minute with other people. If you can't tell, that's my addiction and vice. People are great, but so is actually spending time in God's word or getting other tasks done.

This afternoon I put together my talk for the South Side Mission service tonight. Kimberly and Beth were our music and prayer leaders. Thank you ladies!

I started to see recently how the Lord has been working all of my life to convict me to let loose of the control I want to have over my plans and how I think everything should go. It has ruined many relationships in my life and stressed me out greatly, even at work.

So tonight I talked about WHY we were created, and what we were MADE for. What is it everyone???

TO GLORIFY GOD!!

He is our creator who had one purpose in mind, and that was for us to glorify Him (Isaiah 43:7)

When I consider what I want to get out of life, what I need to think on is His great love for me and how I am to view my life in order to glorify Him.

Phil 3:7-8 “…I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish that I may gain Christ”

Gal 6:14 “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.“

Topped off the night with "Kung Foo Panda"...Scadouch
