Nothing to say

When I left work today, I remember thinking how I didn't have to worry about blogging today, because nothing really happened. This sparked a little deeper investigation into how my day could possibly be that empty when I spent most of it with people, which is one of the main purposes of this blog! Ready to blog now!!

We had an evacuation drill at work today. You might remember my second post and the cover drill? This time, we ran for our lives to the safety of parking row #30. Can you tell how terrified Drew and Cristian are? Andrew (not pictured) needs counseling as well. He was so disoriented that he couldn't find his group's safe area (or he didn't feel like going there...slacker).

After work I tried to take a nap, but phone calls regarding failed social events kept me awake, so I shoved a bunch of silicone caulk in several crevasses of the Corsica to see if we can stop the leaking. I have a friend who's waiting to use the car. The only thing left is to fill the tires and test her out.

I had a meeting at church tonight. Had a hard time sitting still. I always get antsy at these meetings because they are at least an hour and a half long, and we go off on tangents all the time. The guys on the team are great though. We just brought on three new members, including Dave, Paul, and DOUG! I can't wait for our first meeting with Doug. You remember Doug, the third base coach from Monday night softball right? It's always a joy getting to ride to these meetings with Jon and Joy (no pun intended). After the meeting, we stuck around to do some cooking with master chef Lyall and his assistant (ha) Kari.

The pictures of the cooks came down because Joyous hates all pictures of herself. :-)

But wait, there's more...

When I got home, Jon checked out something on my car and we had a nice chat with Chris and Jerelyn long enough to see a good neighbor and church friend, John H. walk by with a dog he's taking care of. Another of my favorite puppies! And what an obedient dog at that. Wherever John looks, so looks the dog. Or was it the other way around?

Tomorrow, Chris and I are doing the exact same brake work on our respective vehicles. I'm seriously pumped, and YOU get to hear about it!!! So lucky.

Good Night!
