A Perfect Day

I dunno about perfect, but that's how it was described several times. After picking some fights and spitting on the cops (ok not really), we didn't' get back to the Gottemoller's house until 1ish, and asleep until 2ish. The girls were up until 4, apparently getting a second wind.

Apparently, a perfect day starts with getting out of bed at 10am.

Chocolate chip and vanilla pancakes.

Mandatory quiet time.

Woodfield mall in the afternoon.

Cheesecake Factory for dinner (or lunch, we're not sure)

IKEA

More port-a-potties

Free outdoor Lifehouse concert.

Cheesecake

And MORE fireworks!

This morning, we tried to jog off last night's dinner, but I'm pretty sure Sarah is the only one who made progress on her salad.

Sorry for so little commentary. When these, and more, go on facebook/picasa, comments will be made.

Today is pretty much all downtown, after another noon breakfast. I heard that the Peoria Fireworks were spectacular. Sorry I missed them. We're pretty sure the ones up here in Itasca (where the concert was) were the best we've ever seen. We need to compare them.

Side note - the spell checker for blogspot doesn't work on this computer...I do NOT want to hear about it (except from you Mom).

I CANNOT wait for next weekend! Oh and, last night (leaving the fireworks) was insane (worse than I've seen in the last 9 years).
