Christopher Walken Rocks

Eric (from Eric and Charlotte) and Marc Were two of my closest friends growing up. Eric and Char live happily in Michigan with their new baby, Clifford, while Marc is still a Peorian for a short time.

Marc recently discovered that I had an interest in shooting, and contacted me shortly before the end of the workday on Wednesday to see if I'd like take the gun for a spin at his parent's place. I'm not sure what he was doing all day, but I don't think it was work. The best answer I've gotten out of him about what he's up to these days is "I'm a hobo".

Weapons of choice were Marc's 9mm HK pistol and .22 rifle, and my 9mm Glock and (dad's) 20 gauge shotgun.

30 yards with the pistols. Left side - eh, not so bad for my second time out. Especially since you don't know how many shots didn't hit the page.

It was quickly too dark to shoot any longer, but there was a gourd with a death wish still to execute. I took the shotgun to it, inflicting only a flesh wound. Marc yeilded similar results. So I kept an eye out for nosy neighbors while Marc put him down at close range with the pistol.

The rifle yielded pretty sweet results at around 40 yards, and we have something new on the fridge now to show for it.
Sorry LaVerne

Marc will be shipping off to begin serving in the Coast Guard in January. :-(
