Bob quizzed the kids during council time at AWANA. The boys got all the easy questions of course. Like, how many brothers did Adam have. The girls get "spell Nebuchadnezzar". Which he gave to them because the little gal was only one letter off! Impressive.
Thursday got double booked. I swiped a few single guys from the co-ed Bible study to give Jake, Peter, Noah and Nick a better guy/girl ratio. Becky torpedoed her chances with the guys thanks to her crazy food antics. I like the glasses though. Sadly,
I may get kicked out of Bible study as the first week of noticeably deeper discussion took place the week I bailed. Thank you for your testimony Sarah! I will spare the rant. "To live is Christ and to Die is gain" Philippians 1:21. Let us who claim the name of Christ as Savior and Lord learn to die each day to our own devices and take joy in the life of Christ glorified. The double booking took place because of Jed's bachelor party. I had the opportunity to meet all of the bridesmaids and another groomsman at the shady (you heard me) bowling event. Tonight, the groomsman and ushers got to bond a little more, eat lots of food, and remind Jed what a dork he is. "Ahhh hammock, my old friend".

Brother Adam provided most of the food including homemade tortilla chips, burgers, brats, dips and an assortment of interesting microbrews.
It's a good thing we got to spend as much time as we did together. The wedding day went by WAY faster than any other one I've been in.
