I got to rock out at the mission with speaker Jim and Josh on the piano. I had never been there with either of those guys, and it is extremely rewarding. A buddy filled in for me to lead worship just after getting laid off and didn't tell me! He finally gave me the chance to return the favor, but I really won :-) Jim is at home with the guys at the mission and most of them respect and enjoy him immediately in his presence. Pastor Washington was on fire for some reason that night and I had to kick him off the podium to get my shot in.Immediately after worship was an administrative meeting for Sunday school. Turned out to be a bit of a rough night. KimB (I finally figured out why I call you that) was driving like a wild woman and flew hundreds of feet into a corn field on her way home. No one measured it though, so we'll never really know.
Thanks to Tom's adeptness at knot tying, hundreds of feet seemed like inches when pulling her out. Or maybe it was...I dunno.
